Information for Supporters

The Black Achievers Program is one that has been an active advocate for youth of color in the Greater Seattle area for more than 40 years. Being a program offered through the YMCA, a non-profit organization, we have relied upon the support of community and local organizations. This support has come in the form of countless hours of volunteerism, monetary donations, and donations of materials and facilities. Through these selfless contributions we have been able to serve and support programming in 6 high schools in the Greater Seattle area, while providing scholarships and educational support for hundreds of high school and middle school students.

By joining with the Black Achievers Program in our continuing advocacy of Greater Seattle youth one will have the opportunity to uplift and support their community through becoming a mentor, volunteer, board member, or community partner. By extending your services to the program and its community you will also gain valuable relationships and the recognition of the community as a positive force that reinvest in its people.
